Acne Baby Cure

Acne baby cure:

Baby acne is a result of the mother's hormones passing to the baby during pregnancy. It usually occurs when the baby is around 3 to 4 weeks old and will in most cases be gone between 4 to 6 months.

The acne tends to be red bumps on the cheeks, chin and forehead, and can have whiteheads.

You can gently cleanse your baby's face every day with water and baby soap. Avoid oils and lotions as these can irritate the skin and make the acne worse.

If your baby's acne is severe, or is going on longer than expected, consult your doctor. She may prescribe benzoyl peroxide.

Above all remember that baby acne is very common and will go away by itself given time. Your baby is unlikely to be affected by it, so whilst it can be upsetting to have your beautiful baby marked, rest assured that it won't be for long.
